Just get the correct software for what is on your vehicle, it is not hard to do at all. Shortcuts to an already simple process is nuts in my opinion.
What about someone in europe that has whole other nav software pack? Do you know what is in that? That is an assumption i was unwilling to make, I don't want to hear the rash of garbage that will occur when noobs try installing the wrong software to the apim, or downloaded it and it fails the install (corrupt/invalid signature) etc. That is true, as long as the user trying this is on the current software version, and that this person is in the US. You make an assumption that ESN replacement is all that is needed.
